It is the mission of the Leon Valley
Area Chamber of Commerce to provide economic development and support for
businesses and our community.
Through the efforts of the board of directors and volunteers we will continue to
support economic development in Leon Valley.

Latest Achievements

At our Regular Meeting on
January 13th the Leon Valley Economic Development Corporation Chairman, Mr. Mike
Davis Presented the LVEDC the application process and guidelines for grant
funding to stimulate economic development for businesses in Leon Valley.

In support of the Mission Statment the Chamber has assisted with man-hours and money to help Leon Valley get
their Economic Development Sales Tax and the Street Maintenance Tax.

About Leon Valley
Prime Area:
Bandera Road and Hwy 16 to include San Antonio, Helotes and Grey Forest and all
our neighbors in Northwest Bexar County. Bandera Road has several major automotive
dealerships, well known banks, health care services, hotels, eating
establishments that are full service as well as fast food. Two major grocery
stores are located at either end of Bandera Road.
At the intersections of Loop 410 and Bandera Road and 1604 and Bandera Road are
major retail chain stores and restaurants.

Community:
For those
looking to relocate to Leon Valley and the surrounding area are many
subdivisions to choose from. Leon Valley and Helotes is experiencing rapid
growth in new housing starts with some of the areas most respected home
builders. Whether you are considering a custom home or something from one of the
well known local builders, there's quite a great deal to choose from in floor
plans and price ranges.
Development:
Leon Valley and the NorthWest area of San Antonio is experiencing a high level
of development in terms of housing starts, shopping centers opening up and
businesses relocating their business to these new locations. The Northwest is
where the greatest concentration of growth has been experienced and it is
projected to continue into the near future.
